I recently rediscovered an app that I had stopped using long ago, Insight Timer. When I first used Insight Timer, it was really just that – a timer. Nothing special about it. Now, Insight Timer offers much more.
Whether you’d like to start experimenting with meditation or you already have a developed practice, you might want to check out this app. It offers more than 10,000 free guided meditations organized by topic or focus. When you choose the “Meditation” mode, you’re asked: “How long have you got?” You can choose from guided meditations as short as “0 – 5” minutes to “30+” minutes and everything in between. The app will then offer you a list of “Most Played” meditations, but you can always search for a particular topic.
In our never-ending search for balance, sometimes just a few minutes of meditation can make all the difference. If you want to be more focused and productive at the office, more present for your loved ones, and just feel calmer and happier, give yourself the gift of just few minutes a day of meditation.
